Who this boat is for

For a family or a group of up to five who want to reach a distant spot dry. For big lakes and lagoons where a wave gets up and the boat needs both room and storage.

The Kimple Hunter 460MS is the factory-fitted version of the Hunter 460. The same 4.60 m hull with 88 cm sides and a fully welded 3 mm bottom, but with factory equipment: a Kimple YHLS console with switches and a USB socket, a 90 l livewell with a circulation system, a lockable rod box, carpeted aluminium flooring, navigation lights and a stern ladder. The fit-out makes it heavier – 330 kg instead of 220 kg – and the plate allows up to 40 HP. The steering system with a wheel is optional.

How it differs from the Hunter 460

The same 4.60 m hull, but two different boats. The Hunter 460 is the open version with no factory fit-out: 220 kg, up to 50 HP, cheaper. The Hunter 460MS arrives ready – console, livewell, lockable rod box, carpet and ladder; that makes it 330 kg and limits it to 40 HP. If you were going to fit the boat out anyway, the MS version is simpler and tidier; if you only need the hull and more power, choose the Hunter 460.

How much does the Kimple Hunter 460MS cost?

The standard Hunter 460MS costs €11 800 incl. VAT. The engine, steering system, trailer and optional equipment are not included; we quote the complete package for your needs.

What engine does it need?

The maximum power allowed by the manufacturer is 40 HP. In practice 25–40 HP is usual: enough to get a 330 kg hull with equipment and a few people on plane.

Does it have to be registered and is a licence needed?

It depends on the engine. In Lithuania recreational craft with an engine up to 19 kW (25 HP) are exempt. With a 30–40 HP engine the Hunter 460MS is registered with the Lithuanian Transport Safety Administration and a boat licence is needed – we help with the paperwork.

Is the steering wheel included?

No. The factory fits the YHLS console with switches and a USB socket, while the steering system with a wheel and remote control is optional. We fit it ourselves.

How many people fit?

The manufacturer's plate allows 5 persons – the most in our range, together with the Hunter 460.

Is the fuel tank built in?

No. There is a compartment at the stern for a portable tank. A built-in 70 l tank is fitted to the Sniper 498 and the H166.

Which trailer fits?

For the 4.60 m length the Brentex 500B (up to 4.8 m) or the Respo 511L191 (up to 5.1 m) fits. As the hull weighs 330 kg and the engine and equipment add more, we pick the exact trailer for your configuration.

Can it be carried on a car roof?

No. A 330 kg hull travels on a trailer only.

What aluminium is it made of?

Bottom and transom 3 mm, sides 2 mm. The hull is fully welded, not riveted.

What warranty is given and can it be bought in instalments?

The manufacturer's hull warranty is 1 (one) year; we handle all obligations locally, in Kaunas or the Mažeikiai district. The boat and equipment can be bought in instalments through leasing partners.

How does the Hunter 460MS differ from the Hunter 460?

The hull is the same – 4.60 m. The equipment differs: the 460MS already has the YHLS console, a 90 l livewell, a lockable rod box, carpet and a ladder from the factory. That makes it 330 kg (instead of 220 kg) and limits it to 40 HP (instead of 50 HP). The Hunter 460 is the cheaper open version that you fit out yourself.
