Who this boat is for

For spinning and trolling on big water – large lakes, lagoons and the coast. For three people who want to reach a distant spot fast and fish standing all day.

The Kimple H166 is the manufacturer's newest model (BR series) and combines two different hulls: a safe Deep-V bow of a walleye boat with the flat, fishing-optimised bass boat deck. The result is a 4.99 m boat that handles a wave yet lets you stand on the bow deck as on a platform. The factory already fits an 70 l fuel tank, a 90 l livewell with a circulation pump, a console with six switches and a USB socket, and a lockable rod locker with a lift assist.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions about the Kimple H166

Answers to the questions buyers ask most often. Not here? Call us.

How much does the Kimple H166 cost?

The standard H166 costs €15 600 incl. VAT. The engine, trailer and optional equipment are not included; we quote the complete package for your needs.

What engine does the H166 need?

The maximum power allowed by the manufacturer is 90 HP. In practice 60–90 HP is usual: the boat will move with less, but a 430 kg hull with equipment and three people needs power to get on plane.

Does the H166 have to be registered and is a licence needed?

Yes. In Lithuania only recreational craft with an engine up to 19 kW (25 HP) are exempt. With a suitable engine the H166 is registered with the Lithuanian Transport Safety Administration and the driver needs a boat licence. We help with the paperwork. Rules differ in other countries – check locally.

How many people fit?

The manufacturer's plate allows 3 persons. The deck is wide, so two can comfortably fish standing even under way.

Which trailer fits?

For the 4.99 m length the Respo 511L191 (up to 5.1 m) fits. As the hull weighs 430 kg and the engine, batteries and equipment add a lot, we pick the exact trailer for your configuration.

Can it be carried on a car roof?

No. A 430 kg hull travels on a trailer only.

What aluminium is it made of?

Bottom and sides 2.5 mm, transom 4.0 mm. The hull is fully welded, not riveted.

Do the photos show the standard package?

No. The photos show the boat with optional equipment – steering system, engine, trolling motor and fish finder.

What warranty is given?

The manufacturer's hull warranty is 1 (one) year. We handle all obligations locally, in Kaunas or the Mažeikiai district.

Can it be bought in instalments?

Yes, the boat and equipment can be bought in instalments through leasing partners – call us and we will send an offer within a day.

How does the H166 differ from the Hunter 460?

The H166 is 39 cm longer and 30 cm wider, twice as heavy (430 kg against 220 kg), allows almost twice the power (90 HP against 50 HP) and already comes with a fuel tank, livewell and console. The Hunter 460 is an open boat for five, the H166 a fishing platform for three.
